Plot Summary
In the fifth installment of the epic Mission Earth series, the United States government has finally achieved its goal of sending a manned mission to Mars. But when the astronauts arrive on the Red Planet, they find something unexpected: a vast and ancient alien city. As they explore the city, they are captured by a group of aliens known as the Cygnus. The Cygnus are a dying race, and they have kidnapped the astronauts in hopes of using their DNA to save their own species.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, the United States government is preparing for war against the Cygnus. But before they can launch an attack, they must first find a way to defeat the Cygnus's powerful weapons. Enter Commander John Savage, a brilliant scientist and military strategist.
